Welcome to Cheleken Stud

Cheleken Equestrian  relocated in September 2006 to Mangatangi , just south of Auckland city. 

Cheleken Stud has been established since the early 1970’s, representing over 30 years involvement in the New Zealand Equine Industry.
 
At Cheleken Stud we breed, produce, compete and sell horses for the New Zealand and International markets. 
The main focus of our breeding program is to produce top class jumpers; we aim to produce strong, correct, trainable horses with excellent temperaments and the athleticism to succeed in any discipline.   

Our Facilities

The property is beautifully setup on 60 acres of flat to gently rolling contour .
We have a range of safe turn-out and day paddocks .
Excellent clean fertilised pasture.
Fully raced and easy to access all areas and paddocks.
Large arena - 80 x 40 m with great all weather surface and quality schooling fences.
Round pen, 20m with sand and shell footing.
New barn with tackroom , feedroom , 8 stables and  covered yards. 
Rubber floors in tie stalls and hot water in wash bay.
Seperate mare and foal barn , vet and scanning area and covered yards.
Access to safe hacking on our farm or large fully raced dairy farm.
